ALL ABOUT DAWA GEAR

Dawa Gear Projects is an initiaiative to aid chidlren in Sherpa communities. Its founder Dawa Tashi Sherpa a high-altitude climbing guide who survived the devastating 2014 Everest Avalanche. After his injuries left him unable to continue high-altitude work, Dawa founded the mountain clothing brand. A percentage of the profits from all sales fund projects to provide Sherpa children with warm clothing and education. The goal of these projects is to provide positive aspirations for good careers while preserving the unique Sherpa culture.
